sepiastory dot com is the portfolio of photographic narratives of people, places, spaces, events and emotions I've encountered. I breathe a good dose of realism and sunshine into the kind of authentic portrait, architecture and fine art photography I practice. I choose to benefit from natural light the most and try not to alter any given context while shooting in it. These images delightfully evoke a sense of nostalgia as in a sepia-tinted photograph from the past. They re-discover stories that should be passed on and remembered. Hence the name sepiastory dot com. I am open to assignments, collaborations, exhibitions, publishing and sale of prints.

My career in shooting authentic portraits of children, elderly, young couples, families, pregnant women and matrimonial portraits soon included architecture and fine arts photography too. Though premeditated it was accidental. A leading architect requested me for a trial shoot and it ended up in me doing his entire portfolio of 32 projects. More interactions with architects and interior designers brought me closer to fine art photography. Galleries showed a keen interest to exhibit my work. And in the summer of 2009 all of a sudden I was to shift to USA with my family for good. Now I am keen to do high fashion and editorial photography. Here in this Mecca of designers, models, celebrity photographers and boundless opportunities I wait for that magical moment to steer me ahead.
